Plan cost, responsibility and delivery

Filament shipping, Incoterms® and destination-based estimates

Share the product mix, quantity, packaging and destination. We can then compare suitable shipping modes, confirm the trade-term basis and prepare a project-specific freight estimate.

Start with the destination and approximate quantity. Carton and import details can follow.

Filament cartons prepared for shipping

Compare like with like

A useful freight quote starts with the same goods, route and delivery scope.

Product mix, packaging, carton size, destination, customs responsibility and delivery point can all change the cost. Put these details beside each quote before comparing them.

02

Use the collection point, port or destination required by the selected term.

03

Confirm who handles what

Shipping estimate inputs

Send the details that affect your shipment.

Begin with what you know. We can identify the remaining carton, destination or import information needed for a useful estimate.

Common Incoterms® 2020 options

Choose the term that matches how your team wants to manage transport and import.

Use the selected rule together with the exact named place or port in the sales contract. The final choice depends on the route and each party’s logistics capability.

EXW

Buyer arranges main carriage

Goods are made available at the named collection point. Confirm loading and export-clearance arrangements.

FOB

Sea freight from the named port

The seller delivers the goods on board at the named port of shipment; the buyer arranges the main carriage.

CIF

Sea freight and insurance arranged

The seller arranges freight and minimum insurance to the named destination port; risk transfers when the goods are on board.

DDP

Delivered to the named destination

The seller handles delivery and import formalities. Feasibility depends on destination, importer and tax requirements.

The agreed Incoterms® 2020 rule and named place or port should be stated in the sales contract.

Carton data

Use the packing details for the order you are quoting.

Different spools, retail boxes or mixed-SKU cartons can change shipment weight and volume. Confirm the final packaging configuration before booking freight.

Compare transport modes

Choose by shipment size, urgency and destination.

Once the order size and delivery need are known, compare the available routes, chargeable weight, handling and destination costs.
